We are currently working with a small independent Estate Agency in South London, who are looking for a Trainee Lettings Negotiator / Lettings Negotiator to join their team. The company cover all areas in London, Kent and Surrey, and currently have two branches with further plans for expansion in 2026. They are a young, energetic and hungry company looking to thrive and grow as one of the best leading independent Estate Agency's. The successful candidate would ideally have previous lettings experience, but this is not essential. A trainee would require strong customer service and sales experience working towards targets, be highly organised and motivated to progress their role. You must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car. Salary package and benefits of the Trainee Lettings Negotiator / Lettings Negotiator position include:

  • Basic £16,000 - £18,000
  • OTE £30,000 - £37,000
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm, Saturdays 9.45am - 4pm with 1 day off in the week
  • 10% commission
  • Money based incentives i.e. £10 per google review received
  • Additional commission for booking in valuations which turn into sales or lets
  • If yearly targets are met, then a full expenses covered trip to a European City is arranged
  • Parking permit

Responsibilities of the Trainee Lettings Negotiator / Lettings Negotiator position include:

  • Always delivering exceptional customer service
  • Liaising between landlords and tenants
  • Providing up to date advice and information
  • Property inspections
  • Conducting viewings
  • Booking appointments
  • Negotiating lettings contracts
  • Registering applicants
  • Generating new business
  • Listing new properties
  • Building the market share
  • Be up to date with current compliance and legislation

The skills required for this Trainee Lettings Negotiator / Lettings Negotiator role will include:
