Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Service Delivery: Work closely with landlords, managing agents, and third-party stakeholders to ensure services are delivered by lease terms, legal standards, and agreed-upon expectations.
- Service Charge Oversight: Assist in validating and challenging service charge budgets to ensure compliance, supporting First-Tier Tribunal cases when necessary to protect interests.
- Operational Support & Compliance: Provide guidance on resolving service issues, particularly health and safety concerns, and ensure that internal teams can effectively handle escalated matters.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for managing agents and ensuring clarity on service requirements.
About You:
- Extensive experience in leasehold property and block management, especially in multi-tenure estates.
- A deep understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks affecting leasehold management, such as the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and the Leasehold Reform Act 2024.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to assess risks, challenge costs, and effectively resolve disputes.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
