A super opportunity has arisen to join a successful property firm in the Canary Wharf area dealing in the property management sector of the business.

Our clients are looking for an experienced Property Manager, the ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving as a key part of the role will be able to deal with management issues and repairs. The successful candidate ideally will be ARLA qualified or seeking to be qualified.

You will be confident and have the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst having the skills to deal with contractors, landlords and tenants in a professional manner.

You will be keen to make things happen and Property Management experience is essential as you will be looking after your own portfolio consisting of up market stock and mainly professional landlords.

Some duties but not limited:

·Managing own portfolio·Dealing with daily maintenance, urgent works in a competent, timely manner·Ensuring gas/electrical safety checks are up to date·Arranging inventories, check in and check outs·Advising utility companies of meter readings·Co-ordinating of estimates and arranging of repairs with contractors, liaising between landlords and tenants·Negotiating and co-ordinating renewal contracts·Negotiating the return of deposits between landlords and tenants·Daily correspondence·Preparation of Tenancy Agreements

Experience and qualifications to apply:

Previous experience of being a Property ManagerStrong attention to detailHigh communication skills both verbally and writtenA keen problem solverStrong administration and excellent IT skills Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords Positive and encouraging attitudeARLA qualified preferred

This role will be 4 days in the office with 1 day working from home
