About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to join a dynamic team, overseeing a portfolio of residential properties across East London and Essex. This role offers hybrid working flexibility, allowing a balance between office and remote work. A driving licence is beneficial but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of property management, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities for The Property Manager:

  • Tenancy Progression: Manage the entire tenant lifecycle from move-in to move-out, including referencing, tenancy agreements, and deposit registrations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all properties adhere to relevant legal requirements, such as gas safety, electrical safety, and energy performance certifications.
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee property maintenance requests, liaise with contractors, arrange necessary repairs, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Rental Arrears Management: Monitor and manage rental payments, dealing with any arrears in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Tenancy Renewals: Manage tenancy renewals, negotiating terms and preparing all relevant documentation.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring excellent communication and resolving any issues or queries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Property Manager is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK residential property legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Driving licence is desirable but not essential.
