Are you a property manager who would like to work client side for a highly respected Landlord? … Maybe you’re currently working in estate agency and looking for a change of direction? This position is with a prestigious freeholder in the West End who manage their portfolio inhouse and are looking for an experienced property manager to join their residential team (they will consider some remote working).

The role:

  • Dealing with tenant escalated queries
  • Good AST legislation knowledge and an understanding of Statutory Tenants
  • Involvement with leasehold properties including reviewing leases to determine repair obligations
  • Carrying out inspection and liaising with facilities/maintenance department to resolve repair issues
  • Resolving escalated rent arrears including liaising with solicitors
  • Contributing to portfolio reports, management meetings etc
  • Assisting with rent reviews, insurance clams
  • Tenancy administration
  • Properties are largely in period style buildings

About you:

  • Experience in a similar property management function including good AST management and ideally some exposure to properties in listed buildings
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation including Housing Act, occupier protection and repossession, tenancy deposits
  • Experience of managing repairs, arrears, disputes or breaches of terms
  • Excellent customer service approach
  • Ability to multi-task, pro-active, good time management
  • Ideally ARLA
