About The Job:
As a Property Manager, you will play a vital role in exceeding client expectations and driving profitability. You will be responsible for managing a profitable portfolio, generating recommendations, and fostering strong relationships with clients. Additionally, you will oversee asset management, facilities management, legal matters, procurement, budgeting, and cash flow. Your expertise and proactive approach will contribute to the overall success of our client's organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and addressing their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge, support team learning, and contribute to company-wide quality improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through active communication, updates, and transparency.
- Ensure proper insurance coverage for client's assets and benchmark repairs against lease, insurance, and other relevant factors.
- Manage risks, comply with changing legislation, and maintain an understanding of legal and company matters.
- Oversee procurement and reactive maintenance, including raising works orders, managing third-party contractors, and reviewing contracts.
- Prepare service charge budgets, conduct cash flow reviews, and support the final accounts process.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property management or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practises
- Proven track record of exceeding client expectations
- Proficiency in using property management software and tools
