Property Manager–£28,000-£32,000 – Streatham, London

The Role

We are one of London’s leading, independent estate agencies, looking to appoint an experienced Property Manager to our growing team.

You will oversee a portfolio of managed properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, handling property maintenance, legal compliance and financial management.

The hours are 9.30am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday (1 Saturday per 6 weeks 9.30am – 4pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between landlords and tenants where required for property management issues/enquiries.
  • Ensure all relevant and applicable legal, compliance and company requirements are met and followed at all times.
  • Arranging property inventory check in and check outs.
  • View properties when required to investigate issues.
  • Undertake pre let inspections.
  • Respond to all Property Management emails Carry out property inspections and report issues/problems from each inspection and update the Head of Property Management as and where required and at weekly meetings.
  • Record all maintenance issues using the Samuel Estates Fixflo system.
  • Assign relevant contractor to rectify the issue or carry out works ordered.
  • Ensure external contractors have access to the properties as and when is needed.
  • Log and file contractor invoices.

The Person

  • Proven work experience as Property Manager.
  • Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects.
  • Good working knowledge of building and property maintenance and management.
  • In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management.
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software (Experience in FixFlo and QUBE an advantage)
  • Customer focused and bottom-line orientation.
  • Interpersonal and savvy with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.
