Property Manager - AST portfolio - 25 days holiday, some hybrid working, high pension contribution, bonus and many other benefits ... This is a new position with a prestigious west end property owner (landlord and freeholder) who manage their portfolio inhouse with a very established team. They are looking for an experienced property manager - perhaps you’re a property manager who would like to work client side or you’re working in estate agency and looking for a change of direction?

The role:

  • Good AST knowledge including an understanding of relevant legislation
  • Involvement with leasehold properties including reviewing leases to determine repair obligations
  • Carrying out inspections for more serious repairs and maintenance queries
  • Liaising with internal facilities/maintenance department to get repairs resolved
  • Dealing with tenant disputes
  • Resolving escalated rent arrears including liaising with solicitors
  • Contributing to portfolio reports, management meetings etc
  • Assisting with rent reviews, insurance clams
  • Tenancy administration
  • An understanding of service charges

About you:

  • Experience in a similar property management function including good AST management
  • Some experience of managing an entire residential building
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation including Housing Act, occupier protection and repossession, tenancy deposits
  • Experience of managing repairs, arrears, disputes or breaches of terms
  • A strong background in property management, quality assurance and customer relations
  • Ability to multi-task, pro-active, good time management
  • Ideally ARLA
