Our client, an international bank based in London who offer excellent benefits and Hybrid working, currently seek a Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Estate to manage a portfolio of clients in the Scandinavian Nordic markets, building and maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding, circa 10+ years experience ideally of the commercial real estate landscape in Scandinavia, excellent Credit analysis and business development skills.
It is essential you are fluent in both English and a Scandinavian language
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and grow the existing portfolio of commercial real estate clients in the Scandinavian markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry, including developers, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking products and services to clients, in collaboration with other teams within the bank.
- Analyse credit risk and prepare credit proposals for new and existing clients.
- Monitor the performance of the portfolio and ensure all credit facilities are in line with the bank's risk appetite and policies.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide timely and effective solutions to clients' needs.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the bank.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate banking, with a focus on the Scandinavian markets
- Excellent credit analysis and risk assessment abilities
- Proven track record of developing and managing commercial real estate relationships in Scandinavia.
- In-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate industry in Scandinavia and its key players.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, with strong time management and organisational skills.
- Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language is essential
