We're keen to speak with immediately available candidates with recent Rights Management experience.
The role is due to start ASAP- therefore, applicants must be available to start, with no more than two weeks' notice.
This is a temporary role, based in the heart of Soho, 3 days per week/ 2 days remote.
Duties involved:
- Setting up and maintaining deals in the rights management system.
- Reviewing all deals entered into the rights management system to update any out of date information before the contracts go to signature; liaising with the legal team to ensure that any issues that arise are flagged in a timely manner.
- Working on system upgrades and maintaining rights management system.
- Liaising with Legal and the Content, IT, and material servicing departments to set up, maintain and catalogue items on the rights management system for new acquisitions.
- Reviewing existing catalogue items.
- Undertaking special projects for the wider team in a variety of cross functional areas.
- Liaising with the content team to keep abreast of content being reviewed and what is in the pipeline for acquisition.
- Liaising with all departments to ensure information flows back and forth, keeping everyone informed.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least five years previous experience within a Rights Management team or equivalent
- Superior organisational, communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as fantastic attention to detail.
- Experience of a variety of database systems.
- Collaborative and flexible team player with professional demeanour and diplomatic skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships.
- Must be familiar with the TV global landscape and be able to keep up to date with trends within the industry.
- Genuine passion and respect for entertainment content.
- A can-do attitude and an ambition to progress within the international TV and content industry.
- Ability to work with high level senior managers.
- Must be fluent in English. Additional languages desirable.
