An exciting new role for a Senior Rights Manager to join a Global Media & Entertainment Company. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong expertise in data entry and documentation management. The position involves handling a variety of materials related to programming acquisitions from producers and licensing agreements with networks and streaming platforms worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret distribution, acquisition, writer, production, and intellectual property agreements to accurately input key terms and rights into their in-house rights management system
  • Coordinate with global teams to verify rights, confirm start dates, flag potential issues, and manage general contract administration.
  • Compile, organise, and validate large data sets in Excel, ensuring seamless data mapping and migration
  • Support the contract lifecycle, ensuring all rights requests and inquiries are handled efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Acquisitions, Sales, Technical Servicing, Finance/Accounting, Production, and Business & Legal Affairs.
  • Lead and contribute to departmental projects focused on maintaining data accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of distribution rights and licensing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities across different functions.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
