Job Title: Assistant Block ManagerSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)Location: London (Full-time with 1 day per week from home)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Block Manager. This role is ideal for individuals with transferable skills who are eager to advance their career in residential property management. You will work closely with two Senior Property Managers who manage a total of 1,500 units. Each PM has two Assistant Block Managers, and you'll be responsible for supporting in the management of their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with day-to-day property management duties, including maintenance coordination, insurance claims and supporting with budgets.
  • Handling administrative tasks, such as processing LPE1 forms and overseeing certain service charge aspects (excluding demands and arrears).
  • Liaising with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely response to maintenance and property issues.
  • Supporting the senior PMs in delivering high-quality service to clients and residents.
  • Participating in regular site visits and inspections, identifying any areas requiring attention.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field with transferrable skills.
  • Strong communication and organistional skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.

Additional Information:

  • Reporting directly to a Senior PM and Director, who will provide guidance and support.
  • Full-time position with the opportunity to work one day from home each week. Additional flexibility may be considered for the right candidate.
