We are recruiting for a growing, innovative company transforming the way people plan for and deal with death. They are seeking a dedicated Estate Planner to join their team. This role involves conducting home visits to assist clients in drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney, ensuring their wishes are documented with care and precision.

If you have a background as a Financial Advisor, your skills and expertise could also be highly suitable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed consultations during home visits to understand clients’ unique needs, assets, and preferences for estate planning.
  • Guide clients through the legal aspects of will creation, providing clear and expert advice.
  • Stay up to date with current estate planning laws and regulations by collaborating with legal teams and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of client information, preferences, and documentation.
  • Support online will-writing and other services within the company as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing post-visit inquiries or adjustments.
  • Keep informed of industry trends to continuously improve service delivery.

About You

  • Comfortable working remotely, with occasional visits to the London HQ.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel around Essex.
  • STEP qualification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of will writing, trusts, and LPAs.
  • Familiar with identifying concerns related to clients' testamentary capacity.
  • High levels of empathy, discretion, and care in client interactions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills with the ability to understand client needs.
  • Proactive and independent, with flexibility to accommodate client schedules.
