Collins Property Recruitment is working with a privately owned family office with a substantial portfolio of residential properties located primarily within London. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior/Head of Property Management to lead and manage their property management department. The role is based in North West London.The Role:As the Senior/Head of Property Management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property management function for their residential portfolio. This will include leading and managing a team of 5, ensuring the smooth operation of their residential properties, and providing exceptional service to their tenants.Key Responsibilities of the Senior/Head of Property Management:

  • Leading and managing a team of 5, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of their residential properties, including tenant management, rent collection, property maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant landlord and tenant legislation.
  • Negotiating and managing property management contracts with third-party service providers.
  • Managing the property management budget and maximising rental income.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the performance of the portfolio.
  • Providing exceptional service to tenants and resolving any tenant complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate property management records and reporting on the performance of the portfolio to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, particularly in relation to AST tenancies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using property management software.
  • A track record of delivering exceptional customer service within residential property management.
