Desk Based Property Manager - North West London - c£35k (Hybrid)

We’re working with a well-established (30 years), highly regarded, independent, multi office one stop-shop property services group whose in-house specialists cover Block Management, Asset Management, Surveying, Legal and Agency.

Within their successful, friendly and highly motivated block management team they now have an opportunity for a competent Property Administrator to act as a Desk Based Property Manager as follows:

  • Working alongside Property Managers, assisting with their portfolios (without actually managing a dedicated portfolio directly)
  • Office based to start (NW London), moving to hybrid working once settled (accustomed to bespoke in-house system etc.)
  • Dealing with first line, non-complex resident queries relating to service charges, maintenance or repair issues and lease queries
  • Arranging for approved contractors to attend estates to deal with maintenance/repairs, raising PO's etc.
  • Liaising with the compliance team to ensure quotations/works have been instructed, forwarding reports as necessary
  • Passing on messages/liaising with Property Managers where residents need more technical assistance
  • Visiting estates to gain first hand understanding of issues effecting residents
  • Training will be provided on arrears, budget and legal processes
  • 2 years Leasehold Block Management environment experience required, ideally in a front line role (i.e. dealing with residents/contractors directly)
  • This position would be ideal for a Property Administrator looking to step up OR an Assistant Property Manager looking to gain further experience before progressing

In addition to a starting basic salary around £35k, the successful Assistant Property Manager will enjoy a generous holiday allowance (which includes a 2 week Christmas shutdown), good service incentives, support for ATPI qualification and a genuine career path.
