Collins Property Recruitment is seeking a Property Administrator to join an asset management company focused on working with professional clients. This company manages a limited number of multi-property owners, ensuring that all day-to-day matters relating to their properties are handled efficiently. The company values a relaxed yet professional working environment, with a focus on thorough and efficient work.Job Summary of the Property Administrator: As a Property Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the tenancy lifecycle, including tenant communication, rent collection, property inspections, and maintenance coordination. You will work closely with both tenants and landlords to ensure smooth tenancy operations.Key Responsibilities of the Property Administrator:

Tenant Communication:

  • Answer phone calls and emails from tenants and landlords.
  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding tenancy matters.
  • Coordinate key cutting for tenants and contractors as needed.

Property Management:

  • Conduct property inspections and general visits.
  • Assist with rent collection and ensure timely payments.
  • Assist with tenancy renewals and property compliance.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Run errands such as purchasing materials, arranging deliveries, or meeting suppliers at the property.

Administrative tasks

  • Maintain the tenancy database and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Assist with maintenance and tenancy issue resolution.
  • Prepare and manage necessary documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in property management or administration is preferred.
  • Advantageous: Ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., fixing door handles, replacing light bulbs, basic plumbing tasks).
