- Manage a designated patch of residential and non-residential rent accounts to maximise collection and minimise arrears.
- Ensure compliance with pre-court action protocol and take appropriate legal action when required.
- Provide advice and support to tenants, signposting to welfare services and support agencies where necessary.
- Handle customer enquiries relating to rent payments and arrears, identifying opportunities for early intervention.
- Process payments over the phone and maintain accurate records using Northgate and other office systems.
- Collaborate with housing management, welfare benefits teams, and legal services to ensure a joined-up approach.
- Analyse data to assess the best action for meeting collection targets while balancing the needs of tenants.
- Experience managing rent arrears cases and ensuring compliance with pre-court action protocols.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits and their impact on rent collection.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Excellent IT proficiency, including experience using Northgate and office software packages.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and achieve key performance indicators.

- The pay rate for the role is £24.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £20.46 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
