Our client is looking for an Estate/Block Manager with a minimum of 2 year’s experience to join them and work with a prestigious Estate Agency looking after 3 estates consisting of 350 - 400 units within a team of 15. With nearly 35 years of expertise in property sales, lettings, and management in the vibrant Ealing area they excel in customer service. Since the establishment of their first office in November 1988, the company has flourished, now managing an impressive portfolio of individual properties and residential estates.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in upholding the company's sterling reputation, which has been meticulously built on local recommendations and a deep-seated understanding of the area in which they are based.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of estates, serving as the main point of contact for freeholders and directors.
  2. Attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and budget meetings, presenting reports and providing insights.
  3. Collaborate with contractors, surveyors, and other professionals to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  4. Oversee the day-to-day running of estates, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  5. Issue Section 20 notices in compliance with relevant regulations.
  6. Ensure that all estates adhere to current Health and Safety Regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estate management activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in estate management, property management, or a related field - 2+ years
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  3. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Knowledge of leasehold and freehold property management practices.
  6. Familiarity with Section 20 notices and Health and Safety Regulations.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
