Senior Property Manager and Team Leader  - Residential Blocks - West End - £60,000 - £70,000 (25 days annual leave, some hybrid working, pension etc., along with being part of a super friendly environment). We are looking for a Senior Property Manager who can demonstrate leadership qualities, a calm head and professional manner for a modern and friendly property company where you’ll be leading a small residential block team.

 

The role:

  • Proactively lead a small team of property managers and assistants including helping to upskill the team
  • Some hands-on management of a portfolio of residential service charge buildings
  • Ensure quarterly inspections of buildings are carried out in line with H&S and Fire legislation and good practice
  • Prepare service charge budgets for high end properties
  • Oversee and resolve escalated issues and insurance claims
  • Dealing with Section 20 projects including involving surveyors and communication with leaseholders

 

Experience Required:

  • Leadership experience within residential block management
  • Extensive block management experience including service charge budgets, major works projects (Section 20), lease dispute resolution and ensuring arrears are kept under control
  • Proactive approach to managing properties
  • Professional while dealing with complicated disputes and customer service issues
  • Extensive understanding of leases, service charge obligations and landlord and tenant covenants
  • Experience of handling insurance claims through to completion
  • Extensive knowledge of building safety act, along with current knowledge of H&S and Fire regulations
  • MTPI, MIRPM or AssocRICS preferred
