Asset Management of balanced UK real estate portfolio with a focus on value-add retail properties. Emphasis generating income and capital growth through leasing, lease re-structuring / re-gears, refurbishments, re-positioning and planning initiatives.

Our client is a Top 20 global Real Estate Investment Manager with a growing and active value-add portfolio of balanced UK assets.

Description

  • Take lead and control asset management initiatives, all commercial sectors, but with a major focus adding value across everything from granular to big-ticket retail assets.
  • Re-positioning, leasing, lease restructuring and improved planning consents.
  • Complete initiatives which maximise rental income, covenant strength and investment performance.
  • Prepare development / re-development / refurbishment appraisals and oversee the project management works.
  • Co-ordinate rent review programme, select and appoint agents to act on rent reviews and all other major Landlord and Tenant work.
  • Appoint, supervise and liaise with all third-party consultants across rent arrears, provision of services, assignments, tenant's works and outgoings.
  • Prepare Quarterly / Half Year and Annual reports across assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with banking agreements
  • Ownership of all Asset Management records and databases, schedules and any associated software packages across the portfolio.

Profile

The successful Senior Real Estate Asset Manager should have:

  • Quality grade in a Real Estate or Built Environment BSc/MSc degree
  • MRICS qualification and existing experience in a client-side Real Estate AM role
  • Good understanding of Real Estate Investment Management
  • Solid knowledge of processes in connection to risk management
  • Excellent property market knowledge
  • Advanced user of Excel spreadsheets and how Asset Management initiatives play into portfolio valuation models
  • Strong analytic capabilities
