Team Leader (Property Repairs)

Peckham - with willingness to travel across London

£39,000 - £44,000 plus Company Van

Hyde is looking to recruit a Property Repairs Team Leader. Internally you will be known as a Trade Supervisor.

As a Property Repairs Team Leader at Hyde you will be working within Responsive Repairs to ensure a customer focused approach and a right first time repairs service is met within your team. This is a mobile role, your main office will be in Peckham covering properties across Southeast and Northwest London postcode.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team to ensure that key performance indicators, such as Customer Satisfaction, RTF and repairs priorities, are achieved and that works orders are closed down within agreed timescales.
  • Manage trades operatives to ensure right first-time completion of jobs and that all health and safety is complied with, to safeguard our staff and the public.
  • Ensure that works allocation is monitored to ensure full use of time is achieved.
  • Monitor budgets ensuring repair jobs are correctly raised and allocated to the correct budget codes to ensure correct capitalisation of works.
  • Build effective stakeholder relations and attend meetings with service providers and residents and internal stakeholders as and when required.
  • You may be required to cover both London Bridge and Peckham office occasionally.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience managing a team is a must with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience working within social housing is beneficial but not essential
  • A background working within a trade is beneficial but not essential
