Our client is a leading social housing contractor committed to delivering high-quality services and maintaining the standards of our housing stock. We take pride in our dedicated team and are looking for a skilled Voids Supervisor to join our dynamic workforce.

Role Overview:
As a Voids Supervisor, you will oversee the void property process, ensuring properties are returned to a high standard for re-letting. You will manage a team of operatives across multiple trades, coordinate inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the voids process, ensuring properties are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections of void properties to assess and confirm work requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of multi-trade operatives, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Organise and facilitate toolbox talks to promote safety and best practices on site.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and housing management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Provide regular reports on progress and performance to senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the social housing sector or property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of processes and related trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to conduct inspections and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
