A leading insurance company is actively looking for a Company Secretary to join their in-house legal team on a permanent basis.
This role would see the Assistant Company Secretary work closely with the General Counsel & Company Secretary on a range of company secretarial duties. In time, the Assistant Company Secretary would be able to step up into the Company Secretary position, making this a brilliant opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step up in their career.
The successful Assistant Company Secretary will be able to attend the office in London twice a week, along with monthly board meetings.
As an Assistant Company Secretary, your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Preparation of meeting materials such as the agenda and action logs.
- Compiling Board and Committee packs and performing quality assurance on the materials.
- Taking efficient minutes of the Board and Committee meetings.
- Companies House and other statutory filings and associated administrative tasks.
- Liaising regularly with the leadership team across the Group in the UK and globally.
Experience of the Assistant Company Secretary:
- Experience supporting Company Secretary/Corporate Office administrative tasks.
- ICSA qualifications (partial or full).
- Experience working for an insurance or financial services firm would be advantageous but not necessary.
