My client, a warm and family-oriented dental practice in West Ealing, is seeking a full-time Dental Receptionist to join their team. This role involves managing patient communication, scheduling appointments, handling billing and payments, and assisting with front-office tasks. They primarily serve an elderly patient base, so they're looking for someone respectful, compassionate, and skilled in communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming Patients: Ensure all patients feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointments and coordinate with the dental team to optimize the daily schedule.
  • Patient Record Management: Update and maintain accurate patient records using R4 software.
  • Billing and Payments: Process payments, handle invoicing, and manage patient accounts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Answering Inquiries: Respond to phone calls and emails, addressing patient questions and concerns with clarity and empathy.
  • Supporting Team Operations: Assist the dental team with any front-office needs, including administrative tasks and patient paperwork.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the reception area organized and welcoming.

Experience: Prior experience in a dental reception role is preferred, but the current receptionist is available to provide training during her notice period.
