We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist Administrator to support our school’s mission by contributing to excellent teaching and learning outcomes and ensuring a safe, collaborative learning community. This role is pivotal in embodying our school’s values of inclusion, aspiration, nurture, creativity, and equality through daily interactions and administrative excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, providing a welcoming, friendly, and professional service.
- Manage effective communication across the school, including handling telephone calls, messages, mail distribution, and visitor admissions in line with safeguarding practices.
- Maintain and implement attendance and dinner registers, ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines.
- Provide administrative support for extended school provisions such as breakfast clubs and extracurricular activities.
- Coordinate logistics for school events and trips, including transport and room bookings.
- Manage admissions processes, maintain pupil records, and ensure smooth transitions for students joining or leaving the school.
- Provide first aid and ensure appropriate medical care for students, maintaining up-to-date health records and medication management.
- Support the School Business Manager (SBM) and other staff with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting
- Must have ParentPay experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using management information systems (MIS), such as Scholarpack, and other office software.
- Knowledge of school operational procedures, including admissions, attendance, and health and safety protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- First aid certification or willingness to undergo training.
