Our client, a London university, has asked us to recruit for a Full-Time Receptionist.This role has an immediate start and will run for 2 months.
As Receptionist, not only will you provide a welcoming environment for patients, you’ll also provide clerical administrative support to the team. You’ll assist with maintaining departmental records, processing patient appointment letters, and communicating protocol to patients prior to their appointments. This role involves a high level of patient contact and requires well developed verbal and organisational skills. You will be keeping a vigilant eye on the patients in the clinic as to ensure they are following the instructions regarding their scans. You will also provide excellent customer service and obtain feedback from the patients to relay to the wider team. You’ll be required to assist team members with filing and other ad-hoc administrative duties.
Receptionist Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for patients arriving at reception for scans, providing a warm welcome and ensuring they adhere to the required protocol.
- Processing patient appointment letters, collating scanning lists, and communicating protocol to patients before the scan appointment.
- To assist in the daily confirmation of upcoming appointments via telephone, and advising patients of their requirements.
- Check records against scanning lists to ensure that the lists accurately match.
- Provide general reception duties such as managing deliveries and post, keeping the waiting area tidy, responding to emails, and receiving telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide general administrative support to the team as required, including maintaining departmental records and preparing patients records for filing and scanning.
Receptionist Key Skills:
- A warm and empathetic demeanour, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with care.
- Excellent customer service experience with strong administrative skills.
