We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a prestigious financial services company in Central London. This role requires a highly organised individual with exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail. As the face of the organisation, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for clients, visitors, and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage a busy reception desk, including answering calls, directing enquiries, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area, reflecting the high standards of the company.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for client and internal meetings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and managing incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Liaise with external service providers to ensure smooth operations, including arranging couriers and deliveries.
  • Support the Executive Director’s Personal Assistant with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, preferably in financial services or a professional environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Warm, personable, and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
