We are seeking a proactive and efficient Receptionist to join our team at a reputable firm of solicitors based in London NW11. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a hands-on approach to office tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Manage office supplies stock and place orders when necessary.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Occasionally assist with light lifting or moving of items to maintain an organised workspace.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
