Receptionist and Facilities Assistant required by a fantastic not for profit organisation based in the City of London. The post holder will assist with all aspects of the properties, ensuring offices have high standards of facilities, are properly maintained and comply to legal requirements. The department also manage building or refurbishment projects and constantly review the property portfolio ensuring the best possible working conditions are provided. This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week, salary circa £26,000 per annum – please note this is a FULLY OFFICE BASED ROLE – offices located in the City (close to Liverpool Street Station / Moorgate Station and Old Street Station). Duties:
  • Assist the Facilities Team in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
  • Ensure that an excellent customer service experience is provided to all enquiries at their offices.
  • Assist Senior Facilities Assistant with day to day running of post room, this includes Reprographic services, internal and external, opening post, organising couriers and taxis, liaising with staff, volunteers, tenants, with any enquiries.
  • Assist Facilities Manager and Senior Facilities Assistant with administrative tasks such as health and safety and any ad-hoc projects.
Key requirements:
  • Good customer service skills with experience in managing reception, switchboard, reprographic, postal and courier services.
  • Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (inc. Word, Excel Outlook, Teams).
