Job Summary:Â We are looking for a friendly and organised Temporary Receptionist to join our team in Lewes. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanour, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and filing.
- Respond to enquiries from visitors, clients, and staff.
- Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges).
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
