Receptionist - Front of House
Location Canary Wharf
Rate 14/15 per hour PAYE
3 Month initial contract
Job Purpose
Working for a Corporate company in the Canary Wharf area on a Sub-Contract basis.
Our client is seeking a welcoming and enthusiastic individual with previous experience of working in a similar role as your will be providing 'front of house' to support for our clients office
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as the organization's first point of contact for visitors and/or callers while ensuring professional communication.
- Receives and directs calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Welcomes visitors, ensures and maintains proper sign-in documents and explains/follows safety procedures.
- Completes all incoming and outgoing mail requirements, including courier services and manages maintenance of the postage machine as applicable.
- Schedules appointments, meetings and books conference rooms.
- Orders lunch for both employees and visitors.
- Manages the office supplies stockroom, places office supplies orders and maintains effective administration.
- Contacts vendors and suppliers as requested to advise of plant/site shutdowns and other disruptions in service.
- Maintains badges for new hires, contractors and visitors.
- Supports administrative projects as assigned.
- Provides other administrative support activities where required.
