About the role

HR and Training department’s objective is to advise, support and partner with the business, enabling the Bank to achieve its strategic mission and goals. The department supports all Bank’s departments across front, middle and back office functions. As an Associate Recruitment - Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible for the recruitment from junior to senior professional roles independently and providing efficient and effective recruitment administration, ensuring the company hires the best candidates in the market. You will assist with day-to-day recruitment activity to ensure a smooth process, a high level of service to hiring managers and an exceptional candidate experience. This is a full time permanent role.

Key responsibilities

  • Support with direct sourcing and responsible for recruitment from junior to senior professional hires
  • Draft advert and post vacancies on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards and social media channels for all level roles
  • Source candidates for roles through advertising, LinkedIn, proactively seeking referrals, searching job boards and business schools
  • Attract and source diverse talent; liaise with organisations, educational institutions, and community groups
  • Monitor and respond to both internal and external job applicant queries
  • Monitor and review all CVs on the system
  • Screen applications and brief candidates on live vacancies within the Bank and prepare candidates for interviews with the hiring managers
  • Manage calendar and schedule all interviews, book meeting rooms, send invites and ensure site entry requests have been processed
  • Ensure progress is communicated in a timely and effective manner with hiring managers and candidate
  • Collect and verify candidates documents are received as required prior to the interviews
  • Seek and provide feedback to candidates and/or to the agency
  • Maintain accurate reporting within internal tools on a weekly and quarterly
  • Providing a highly professional candidate experience
  • Maintain up to date recruitment system to drive efficiencies
  • Respond to all queries in a timely manner
  • Complete Head Office reports in a timely manner
  • Produce regular MI recruitment on recruitment activities and DE&I
  • Manage and organise Internship Programme
  • Provide administrative assistance during the hiring process and liaise with HR Operations team
  • Reconciliation and processing of agency invoices and liaise with Financial Management
  • Undertake additional project works or tasks as required

Requirements

  • Degree educated
  • Previous experience in Recruitment preferably within Financial or Professional Services
  • Experience in building and maintaining talent pool
  • Experience of providing administration support
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of direct sourcing channels
  • Proficient in using job boards, LinkedIn and ATS
  • Knowledge of Employment Law related to Recruitment
  • Able to multi-task/work to tight deadlines without compromising quality of service
  • Have exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Highly organised
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Commercial awareness
  • Team player
