Joining our clients next graduate cohort as an Associate Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in executing high-quality search processes across diverse practice areas. An initial six-week training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive and develop. Following this, an additional program will help you build a solid foundation in search methodologies, including engaging candidates, mastering competency-based interviewing, and delivering exceptional client materials.

You will actively support project leads on various research streams and gain exposure to client meetings and business development initiatives. The Associate role requires you to work with pace and energy across multiple assignments, fostering a results-driven mindset. Our client aims to nurture future leaders within the business, with many Associate Partners and Partners also having started at associate level!

To broaden your knowledge, you will rotate across several sector teams. This rotation provides a comprehensive understanding of various sectors and their interrelations, allowing you to explore different areas of interest and learn from a wide range of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend initial client meetings to understand role requirements, company culture, and search expectations.
  • Utilising various databases to map relevant sectors and companies.
  • Creating role profiles and client materials.
  • Gathering diligence on companies and potential candidates from market sources.
  • Engaging prospective candidates, assessing their relevance, and advising them on career alignment.
  • Producing longlists, shortlists, and appraisal documentation for clients.
  • Support the closure of search processes, including managing feedback and assessments.
  • Prepare materials for marketing meetings and pitches.
  • Develop and share market knowledge within the team and business.
