International Law Firm is seeking a Future Talent Assistant to join them in their London office on a permanent basis.

Salary to £35,000

Hybrid working (3 day in the office and 2 days working remotely)

The Future Talent Assistant will support recruitment and development initiatives to attract and nurture the next generation of talent in the firm. Shape your career with early responsibility in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Duties of the Future Talent Assistant:

  • Organise and participate in events such as placement schemes, open days, skills workshops, and law fairs.
  • Oversee the candidate management system (Candid) for application screening, assessment centre coordination, and offer management.
  • Assist with creating and coordinating social media content to promote future talent initiatives.
  • Support the onboarding activities for future talent, including financial assistance, induction events, and pre-employment preparation.
  • Manage the HR lifecycle of future talent, monitoring absence, seat reviews, and changes.
  • Assist in the processes for new joiners, seat changes, and qualification admissions.
  • Input and maintain data within the HR system (WorkDay).
  • Develop and maintain standard HR documentation, policies, and know-how resources.
  • Participate in HR and firm-wide projects, balancing daily tasks with project work.
  • Build relationships across the business, working closely with partners and colleagues in the wider HR team.

Requirements for the Future Talent Assistant:

  • Relevant experience in future talent recruitment and development.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and discreetly.
  • Experience with HR information systems, preferably WorkDay.
  • Interest in professional development and a willingness to contribute ideas for improvement.
