Role Overview:

Looking for inquisitive, driven, and highly academic graduates to join the team as a Researcher. This is an exciting entry-level role that offers the opportunity to be part of a comprehensive graduate training program. As a Researcher, you will gain exposure to different desks within the company and develop the skills needed to conduct high-level market analysis, map potential candidates, and review competitor offerings. You will be mentored by senior professionals while developing expertise in sourcing C-suite executives for the finance, fintech, and quantitative trading markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured graduate program, receiving in-depth training and mentorship across various areas of executive search.
  • Gain exposure to different desks within the company, learning how to map candidates, conduct market analysis, and assess competitor offerings for similar roles.
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify and evaluate high-calibre C-suite candidates across the finance, fintech, and quantitative trading sectors.
  • Source and engage with candidates through various platforms, including LinkedIn, professional networks, and specialised databases.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market developments to provide valuable insights for recruitment strategies.
  • Review competitor offerings and strategies to better understand the talent landscape for senior leadership roles.
  • Work closely with consultants to align research efforts with client needs and contribute to building high-quality candidate shortlists.
  • Maintain and manage an up-to-date database of potential candidates, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of information.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong academic background (Russell Group graduate with strong A - Levels), ideally with a degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (backgrounds in fintech or quantitative trading are a plus).
  • A passion for research and a genuine curiosity about the finance, fintech, and quantitative trading sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally in high-level conversations with senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex market data.
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using candidate sourcing platforms, such as LinkedIn and Boolean search techniques, is a plus, but full training will be provided.
  • Motivated, career-driven, and eager to build a long-term career in executive search.
