Graduate Recruitment Consultant (US Markets)

Position Title: Graduate Recruitment Consultant

Location: London, Barbican

Reports To: Director of Investment Banking & Alternative Markets

Starting Salary: £26,000

Our client is a London-based global search firm with a focus on quantitative and technology-driven finance. Their clients include the top groups at Tier-1 investment banks and world class hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms. They are specialists in finding talented staff for positions in technology, and quantitative research.

With offices in New York, Chicago, London, Amsterdam and Shanghai there is option to move internationally with the firm.

About the role:

We are looking for university graduates to join their team, and expand their growing business.

Responsibilities from day one include: resourcing and head-hunting candidates, spending time doing online market research, telephoning and meeting candidates, managing interview processes, and attending client meetings. Soon afterwards, this will expand into managing client accounts and building out your own patch.

The skill-set of a head-hunter is diverse and transferable. It will be a steep learning curve, but candidates will be trained by highly experienced professionals, with a long and proven track record of developing young talent. Commission is uncapped, so you control your end-of-year earnings.

What you need:

  • Minimum of AAB at A-level and I do not include Extended Project Qualification grade to carry them into that threshold. IB score needs to be 38+.
  • Minimum 2:1 from strong University for undergraduate.

About you:

Bright, capable, confident (but not arrogant), well presented and well spoken individual who for some reason or another have decide to shun dull corporate big four roles and want to come and work hard, earn very good money and work with similar minded folk.
