Position OverviewThis is a fantastic, blended role of Recruitment and HR within a friendly SME. Acting as the first point of contact for all HR related queries including onboarding, off boarding, recruitment (around 50% of your role) new starters leavers as well as ER including performance, grievances and disciplinaries.

This is a fast-paced sales environment and requires a confident individual who has ideally come from a similar background recruiting sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the company's goals and legal compliance.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and morale.
  • Oversee training and development programmes to ensure continuous professional growth.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategic solutions.
  • Stay updated on HR best practises and labour legislation to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD L5 min (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practises, employment law, and compliance issues.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee development, and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
