The specialist legal recruitment team at SEARCH has been established for over 20 years and has an established offering in Private Practice and In House recruitment. With 20 consultants covering the London and the Southeast we are well placed to benefit from the current market conditions in the legal sector and are always at the forefront of the client's mind.

The Private Practice business in the Legal team is very established, working with some of the biggest names in the legal world from US and TOP 20 firms in the City to Regional firms in the Southeast. This delivers lots of jobs coming through from PSL accounts as well as the team creating their own orders through taking candidates to market.

The established Private Practice business is mainly placing lawyers in permanent roles. However, they are generating 75-100 new jobs per week, which could easily be sold against to generate a locum or interim needs. This is on top of the clients who come to us already looking for locums or interim lawyers, hence looking to recruit a talented consultant to own the locum/interim work and grow it out.

As part of the leadership team in the Practice team, this opportunity will see you working in an established private practice team that have open doors for you to walk into to generate work, on top of what the perm consultants can generate for you. We have a database of over 10,000 lawyers to work against and a great team to be part of. As a company SEARCH has thousands of temporary workers out every day across the UK so we also have all the infrastructure and back office required to run your business.

You should be a proven recruiter in the interims/contract space. Ideally you will have done this within the legal sector, however, consultants with experience placing temp workers/locums/interims from other sectors looking to specialise are also encouraged to apply.
