What You'll Do:

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll specialize in building and developing a network of employers (clients) and job seekers (candidates) within one specific market, typically focusing on a particular country. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Cold Calling & Business Development: Proactively reach out to potential clients, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships. You'll spend a significant amount of time on the phone each day, working to win new business and generate job orders.
  • Market Focus: You will primarily focus on building a network of candidates and clients within one specific country and one specific industry, becoming an expert in that market. Occasionally, you'll have the opportunity to work on roles in different countries, broadening your international experience.
  • Managing the Full Recruitment Process: As you develop your skills and demonstrate your abilities, you'll be trained to manage the entire recruitment process-from sourcing candidates and guiding them through the interview process to seeing them start in their new jobs. You'll also learn to handle client communication, manage expectations, and ensure a smooth hiring process. Once you've shown you can handle these tasks, you'll take full ownership of your market and recruitment processes.
  • Market Building: You'll be responsible for growing your own market by building a strong candidate and client base, continually developing relationships and driving revenue.
