About the Opportunity:
We are supporting the growth of a leading global engineering organisation as they expand their consulting capabilities across the Refining, Renewables, and Chemicals sectors. Due to continued demand in these industries, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Process Consultant to join their dynamic team.

Working within the process consulting division, you will contribute to a wide range of projects including profit improvement programmes, strategic assessments, operational excellence initiatives, troubleshooting, and plant optimisation. This is a collaborative role, often delivered by teams working both onsite and remotely across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to projects focused on improving plant performance, efficiency, and profitability.

  • Apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot process issues and identify optimisation opportunities.

  • Support strategic analysis initiatives for clients across refining, renewables, and chemical processing.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients, both in-person and remotely, to deliver high-quality consultancy services.

  • Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines and support commercial objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified (BEng or MEng) in Chemical or Process Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Strong understanding of refinery operations and economics is essential.

  • Previous experience in process optimisation, technical consulting, or operational excellence within energy or chemical sectors.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver against deadlines and budget.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal).

  • A collaborative mindset, with a professional approach to working with clients and colleagues alike.
