The Client:A national transport organization based near St. Paul’s are looking for a Recruitment Advisor on a part-time basis (3 days/week minimum) to support the HR team on a short-term basis. They will be looking for someone to join until June, although this could extend beyond. This is an additional role due to a busy period for the firm.

The Role:This is a Recruitment Adivsor role managing the recruitment process for a particular department at this firm. Currently they have a number of live roles just in one department that need managing, from advertising all the way through to an offer being accepted. Onboarding will then be managed by the wider HR team.

  • Creating of job descriptions and job adverts
  • Responsible for job advertising and candidate attraction including search & selection where required
  • Making high volume calls daily to suit business needs
  • Shortlisting of candidates
  • Conducting telephone and email screening as required for all applications responding to adverts
  • Co-ordinating and delivering effective administration support in the arranging of interviews between multiple diaries
  • Providing effective advice and guidance to applicants and hiring managers to ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable recruitment experience

Candidate Specification:

  • Competent at managing multiple positions at once in a timely and efficient manner
  • Up to date knowledge of relevant employment legislation
  • Team-oriented; someone who is happy helping out in a collaborative environment
  • Proactive and autonomous
  • Confident approaching candidates in the market
  • Computer literate with familiarity with Workable (ideal) or another applicant tracking system

Additional Information:

  • Salary is up to £30k pro rata
  • 3 days a week minimum. Ideally the ability to work 5 days a week during busy periods
  • Hours are either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm and the business offer hybrid working. There is a possibility this role could be fully remote, although this is unknown at this stage
