Recruitment Consultant - Construction, Property & Engineering - London

28k-40k per annum (DOE) OTE 60K-80K first year, set to increase after one year of billing

Daniel Owen are the leading construction recruitment agency in the UK and are proud to be partners with GSC Executives, a leading executive search recruitment business who specialise in identifying top talent internationally. We are looking for an experienced recruitment consultant or sales professional to join the team in our office based in London, not only working as part of the Daniel Owen team but part of GSC Executives.

Whilst GSC are predominately based in Newcastle, due to their significant growth they are expanding the team into our London office giving somebody the exciting opportunity to work in partnership with leading tier one contractors most predominately in construction, property, and engineering. You will be coming into a warm desk from day one that currently has live vacancies and clients, giving you the opportunity to progress and achieve great success even in your first few months. With a fantastic team around you and exciting prospects for the future, this is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

Duties of a Recruitment Consultant include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and develop existing client relationships, not only over the phone but face to face
  • Sourcing skilled individuals that have the correct qualifications and experience
  • Managing the full 360 recruitment process from interview through to offer stage
  • Providing a top tier service to ensure repeat business and recommendations

The ideal Recruitment Consultant:

  • Proven recruitment or sales professional (any sector experience)
  • Will have the ability to motivate and inspire others and have the ambition to progress into a managerial role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to make decisions and use their own initiative
