Summary:
An excellent opportunity for a Broadcast Recruitment Consultant required to work across Broadcast and all related media sectors.
EMS is an established specialist recruitment agency in the Broadcast sector with a hard-earned enviable reputation for integrity, fairness and professionalism.
As part of team expansion plans a confident, self-motivated and pro-active Resourcer is required with media or broadcast experience either in the industry and/or as a recruiter for it. Some recruitment experience is required but candidates will be considered from either background.
Requirements
- A background in either media recruitment or experience in broadcast media or specifically the creative/production/post production sector.
- Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to see the bigger picture and contribute to the strategic development of the business
- A good general knowledge and a keen interest in new technology.
- Rational & logical approach to business
- A strong team player with a proactive attitude
- A true understanding and belief in quality service
- Strong relationship building and networking skills
- Numerate and I.T. proficient specifically with Microsoft Office
- Able to commute in to our West London office 3 days a week
Our clients include leading UK and international broadcast companies. You will work closely with our team of consultants who will introduce you to these clients so you can build up a knowledge and understanding of what they do and how they work.
As well as dealing with clients and candidates, we need someone who can research everything from market trends to new recruitment, broadcast, I.T. or gaming innovations. Travel to broadcast events, promoting what we do and talking to clients and candidates, are all key requirements of this role.
Ideally you will be familiar with using recruitment tools, jargon and systems to connect with and source potential candidates and clients.
Key Deliverables
- Be a trusted and successful recruitment Resourcer.
- Be an integral part of the small team of recruiters.
- Develop and grow our database of candidates and clients.
- Contribute to the annual business planning process.
- Prepare, present and implement plans to deliver agreed annual budget.
- Personally deliver EMS expected service levels to your assigned clients and candidates. Client and candidate management is a key skill.
Other Deliverables
- Accurate reporting and feedback to be given both in meetings and as required.
- Be aware of employment legislation and up to date with the latest directives.
- Public face at shows and networking to grow business/candidate contacts.
- Be competent in using social and professional networking sites.
- Have a skilled eye for detail and be able to understand and check Contracts and Terms and Conditions.
- Bring new and innovative ideas to the table in a well thought out and well- presented format.
