We are thrilled to be recruiting a talented Sustainability Consultant to take the lead and support the delivery of environmental certifications across various projects. If you have proven expertise in BREEAM, WELL, Ska, and LEED and are passionate about creating positive change across sectors like healthcare, education, historic buildings, and sci-tech, this role is the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the successful delivery of environmental certifications, with guidance from senior team members.
- Advise design teams in developing effective and compliant design strategies, ensuring all necessary evidence is gathered.
- Assist in planning applications, LCA assessments, and construction site monitoring.
- Review evidence and prepare validation statements for submission to third-party certification bodies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A formal qualification in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field within the built environment.
- BREEAM Assessor qualification and/or BREEAM AP status, with hands-on experience managing BREEAM projects.
- Experience in sustainability across the planning, design, and construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and its application to development projects.
- A genuine passion for sustainability, with a proven track record of implementing strategies promoting environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
- Proficiency in lifecycle tools like OneClick LCA and experience in circularity assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and presenting to various stakeholders.
