Job Title: Senior HR AdvisorLocation: Tunbridge WellsSalary: £50,000 per annumHours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with flexibility, Hybrid We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a forward-thinking and professional HR team based in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment, providing comprehensive HR services and supporting the employee lifecycle within a prestigious professional services firm.Main Purpose of the Role:As the Senior HR Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR processes for Apprenticeships, Trainees, Paralegals, Legal Support, and Business Services staff. You will work closely with managers and employees at all levels to provide proactive HR support, delivering bespoke HR solutions and driving the firm's People Strategy.You will be integral in managing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations, as well as supporting the firm's learning and development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:- Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exits for various staff categories.- Graduate Recruitment Programme: Manage recruitment and selection for Trainee Solicitors, ensuring seamless onboarding.- Apprenticeship Support: Support and guide the firm's Apprenticeship programmes, ensuring effective development opportunities.- Graduate and Work Experience Programmes: Develop and manage graduate placements and A-level work experience initiatives.- Careers Engagement: Represent the firm at careers fairs, and build relationships with educational institutions to attract future talent.- Learning and Development: Support the firm's learning and development activities, ensuring alignment with career progression frameworks.- HR Team Collaboration: Work closely with HR colleagues to meet team objectives and participate in firm-wide initiatives.- Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with internal policies, employment legislation, and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities under tight deadlines.- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.- Demonstrated experience in professional services HR, with previous experience in a law firm being a strong advantage.- Project management experience, with the ability to manage HR projects from start to finish.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR databases (experience with OpenHR is preferred).- CIPD qualified or equivalent in Personnel & Development.- Experience within an HR team in a professional services environment.- Commercial awareness and understanding of legal and business matters.Personal Attributes:- Professional, calm, and supportive demeanour.- Reliable, trustworthy, and approachable.- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, confidence, and tact.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- High level of confidentiality and discretion.- Flexible and adaptive to changing demands.If you're an experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
