Career Trails is a leading recruitment agency based in London, UK. We are working on behalf of an agency that specialize in providing top talent to various industries including Civil Engineering and Construction.

Position Overview:

They are currently seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their team and oversee our Civil's and Structures desk, this is a warm desk and a great opportunity for someone with at least three years experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for a variety of roles within the Civil Engineering and Construction industry. This is a full time position based in our London office.

This will work well for someone who understands the civil's and structures market but maybe wants to work for a smaller firm and gain more flexibility. Hybrid working is on offer for the right candidate. The desk is warm focusing on the majority of the UK. Are you looking for more autonomy and flexibility this role is for you working with a small team in Central London and from home you will enjoy freedom and a grown up approach to recruitment. This is a candidate short market so a professional that enjoys resourcing candidates it required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates within the Civil Engineering and Construction industry

- Source, screen and interview candidates for a variety of roles including engineers, project managers, and other technical positions

- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding

- Utilize various recruitment methods to attract top talent, including job boards, social media, and networking events

- Work closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide them with tailored recruitment solutions

- Provide guidance and support to junior consultants on the team

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to effectively advise clients and candidates

- Meet and exceed individual and team targets and KPIs

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in recruitment, preferably within the Civil Engineering and Construction industry

- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in technical roles

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment

- Proficient in using various recruitment tools and techniques

- Knowledge of Civil Engineering and Construction industry trends and market conditions

- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
