Senior Recruitment Consultant: SEND

This is a unique opportunity for experienced recruiters to specialise in the vital and growing area of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). In this role, you'll work closely with schools and educational settings to ensure they have access to high-quality, compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting students with diverse needs.

Whether you already specialise in SEND recruitment or come from a broader recruitment background, this is your chance to contribute to a meaningful sector.

Your Responsibilities

As a SEND Recruitment Consultant, your focus will be on building relationships and matching the right professionals to the right roles, ensuring every placement enhances the learning and development of SEND students.

  • Building and Nurturing Relationships: Partner with SEND schools, PRUs (Pupil Referral Units), and alternative provision settings to understand their unique needs.
  • Providing Tailored Solutions: Recommend and deliver recruitment solutions that reflect the ethos and requirements of each school.
  • Sourcing Exceptional Candidates: Attract SEND professionals such as SEN Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Therapists, and Support Workers.
  • Candidate Engagement: Interview and vet candidates to ensure they meet compliance and safeguarding requirements.
  • Matching Talent: Fill roles on a supply, contract, or permanent basis by effectively matching candidates to vacancies.
  • Promoting Opportunities: Advertise roles on job boards, social media, and our website to attract high-quality SEND professionals.
Key Attributes for Success

To succeed in this role, you will display:

  • Proven recruitment or sales experience, ideally in education or SEND recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and compliance requirements in education, particularly SEND settings.
