The Company Trainee Recruitment Consultant
With clients in the UK and the US this firm are specialists within the FinTech space. They focus on sourcing the best talent within Quant Finance, Software Development, and Engineering for the most reputable Financial institutions worldwide.
They have been up and running for 6 years and have grown steadily to 45 heads in London. They are in the midst of opening an office in Austin and will extend the opportunity to any consultant to move out there if/when they want (with at least 12 months experience in the UK).
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to make a huge impact with the clients they work with and gain exposure to influential firms across the globe.
The Benefits Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £26k which rises to £28k after probation (3months) and £30k after your first promotion (takes between 6-12months)
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 40% which will see you earn at least £45k in your first year, scaling to £60k in year two!
- 4-week onboarding programme consisting of shadowing, classroom sessions, role plays, and client/candidate meetings
- Ongoing 1-1 mentorship throughout your career with one of the Partners of the firm

- Quarterly socials to celebrate the firms success - this involves Ascot, Henley, World Cup, and awesome Christmas parties (black tie meals with a private chef etc.)

The Role Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Maintaining excellent relationships with clients with regular meetings
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Interviewing candidates and shortlisting them for your clients
- Managing the interview process from initial prep to negotiating contracts
- Building your personal brand on LinkedIn and creating content relevant to your network
- Handling any reservations and ensuring youre consulting your candidates and clients
The Ideal Candidate Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Resilience with strong examples to back this up
- Confidence speaking with a wide range of individuals over the phone and in person
- Naturally competitive with the drive to succeed
- Financially driven and looking to earn over a basic pay
