Interim Compliance Manager Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension to 9-12 months)

We are seeking an experienced Interim Compliance Manager to join our established social housing organisation. This crucial role will oversee statutory compliance across our property portfolio, with particular focus on gas, electrical, water, lift and asbestos management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of compliance programmes across key safety areas
  • Manage and analyse compliance data using our new property management system
  • Oversee external contractor relationships and service delivery
  • Contribute to ongoing compliance review programmes
  • Ensure robust monitoring and reporting of compliance activities

Essential Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements in social housing
  • Strong IT literacy with experience in compliance management systems
  • Proven track record in contract management
  • Experience in data analysis and compliance reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of statutory requirements across all primary compliance areas

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Gas Safety Management in Social Housing or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with property compliance system implementations
  • Background in social housing compliance management
