gap construction is proud to be recruiting for a dedicated Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to work on a critical project for Camden Council. This role involves ensuring smooth communication and support for residents during the supply and installation of fire doors and related works. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Performance Objectives

  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, providing updates, advice, and assistance throughout the project.
  • Manage resident consultation processes, including distributing information packs and handling queries.
  • Arrange and conduct pre-condition surveys, ensuring residents are informed about design options and measurements.
  • Maintain accurate records, including property trackers, access logs, and resident communications.
  • Identify and provide support for vulnerable residents, liaising with social services and external agencies when necessary.
  • Proactively address complaints and ensure resident satisfaction through surveys and follow-ups.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, ideally within housing, construction, or property management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Experience in managing resident engagement for construction projects is desirable.
